aircrack is an 802.11 WEP and WPA-PSK keys cracking program that can recover keys once enough data packets have been captured.

Aircrack does not use bruteforce. If you go on www.milw0rm.com and look at the videos on how to crack wifi networks you will see that every 1000 to 4000 packets one of them is a bad packet that can be decrypted. If you let aircrack run it will take you around 40 hours to get a 64 bit key, that is if the router that your trying to get is being used for 40 hours by the users already on. What you need is to start aircrack and packet the things out of the router so it gets a lot of packets and in a matter of 10 minutes you get a the key.
